Peran Kecerdasan Buatan (Artificial Intelligence) Dalam Pendidikan Agama Islam

Artificial intelligence is currently a technology used in the field of education. Through artificial intelligence the learning process is carried out using developed applications and automating tasks, selecting appropriate material, adapting the curriculum to student needs. The application of artificial intelligence has a positive impact on improving the quality of people's lives, especially in Islamic religious education. The application of artificial intelligence in Islamic religious education can help increase learning efficiency, expand access to important materials, and provide a more personal and interactive learning experience for students. However, it is also necessary to remember to integrate this technology wisely and in harmony with the values and goals of Islamic religious education itself. The method in this research is to use an experimental method with single group pretest-posttest control. The participants consisted of two classes of students from the STAI Samora Pematangsiantar Islamic Religious Education Study Program. The first class is used as an experimental class that implements artificial intelligence while the second class is a control class that implements conventional learning methods. The results showed that there were significant differences between the experimental group in the first class and the control group in the second class. In the experimental class, students had a fairly high level of understanding of Islamic religious concepts, learning motivation and student participation and had a positive impact on Islamic religious education compared to the control class (second class). The implications of artificial intelligence can be tailored to student needs, providing an active, creative and innovative learning experience. It is hoped that the implementation of artificial intelligence can consider other factors such as sustainability, availability of resources, effectiveness of widespread implementation.
